About the Conference

The School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University is organising a Two-Day International Conference titled “Beyond Disciplinary Boundaries: Emerging Perspectives in Humanities & Social Sciences, Mass Media and Technology” on 30–31 October 2026 in Hybrid Mode. The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, scholars, students, media professionals, industry experts, and practitioners to exchange ideas and engage with emerging intellectual and societal challenges.

The contemporary world is shaped by rapid technological advancement, social transformation, cultural change, economic transitions, evolving political structures, and new modes of communication. These developments increasingly transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and require integrated approaches to knowledge and research.

Collaborative Knowledge Production

The event will feature Plenary Sessions by Eminent Personalities, Symposiums, and Panel Discussions, providing opportunities for intellectual exchange and academic networking.
